ISTQB CTAL, Test Analyst
The Certificate is awarded to
those who pass a written three-hour multiple-choice exam of 60 questions that is
set, moderated, marked and invigilated by an ISTQB licensed Exam Provider.
Candidates whose native language is not English get an extra 25% time allowance.
It is further recommended that delegates also have at least one year’s practical
experience of software testing.
ISTQB CTAL, Technical Test Analyst
The Certificate is
awarded to those who pass a written two-hour multiple-choice exam of 45
questions that is set, moderated, marked and invigilated by an ISTQB licensed
Exam Provider. Candidates whose native language is not English get an extra 25%
time allowance. The Advanced Technical Test Analyst course is particularly aimed
at testers whose role involves working with code or with the developers who
write it, either to assist in the testing of safety-critical/business-critical
code or to create test automation scripts, or who need to perform the more
technical types of testing such as performance, security, reliability,
portability and maintainability
testing. You need to have at least one year’s
practical experience of software testing and at least a theoretical
understanding and preferably some practical experience of basic programming.
ISTQB CTAL, Test Manager
The Certificate is awarded to
those who pass a written three-hour multiple-choice exam of 65 questions that is
set, moderated, marked and invigilated by an ISTQB licensed Exam Provider.
Candidates whose native language is not English get an extra 25% time allowance.
It is further recommended that delegates also have at least two years‘ practical
experience of software testing. Organize and lead risk management activities and
use risks to drive test planning and reporting. Create and implement test plans
consistent with organizational policies and test strategies.Actively lead test
process improvement initiatives. Select and apply tools to support testing.
- Each successful participant of the exam gives consent to be placed in the international database of certified software
testers. The database shows the name, income, type of certificate,
certificate number, date of the exam, its validity, the country where the exam
was taken and the certification body where the exam was taken. No sensitive
data about certificate holders is disclosed
- Software testers are certified according to ISTQB standards.
- Within 3 weeks from the date of the exam, you will receive the certificate
electronically by e-mail (if the invoice has been paid).
- during exams it is possible to use your own paper dictionary (not
electronical)
